Just Listening and Speaking Upper Intermediate consists of 18 listening units in Part A and four speaking sections in Part B.

The Listening extracts include news broadcasts, stories, dramas, comedy, authentic interviews, audiobook extracts and a song. There are comprehension and language extension exercises to accompany each listening extract.

In Part B students get practice in reading aloud and interacting with speakers on the audio tracks (for interviews, dialogues etc.). Section 4 makes them aware of some of the more obvious differences betwee spoken and written English.
